Songwriter E.G. Phillips comes from a country called the Midwest. He creates lyric driven songs with his own special blend of whimsy and cinematic imagery which he uses to give a wry take on dealing with the longings of the heart and the madness of existence. You could call his music jazz-infused alternative Americana — "Bob Dylan with flatted fifths" or "lounge music that falls somewhere between Tom Waits and They Might Be Giants." E.G. is the sole proprietor and sole member of the fake band "Ducks With Pants."

Stephen Forte started out as a drummer at the young age of 7 learning drum patterns from his brother in a Dayton Ohio basement. Later, he picked up the guitar and mandolin playing out with bands the Beer Pagans, Anachronauts, and the May Darts in the mid-90s Dayton Ohio indie scene. After some interference from life, he found himself playing garage rock and blues with a San Francisco combo called The Panties. After another stint of interference from life, Stephen is back with a series of clues/folk/rock tunes heavy on 8th notes, Travis picking and melody.

Rick Mixter writes, “I am an adult child of the 60s who plays and writes in several genres: solo fingerstyle guitar instrumentals, acoustic-based songs, and rock & roll. I have often played my smartass original rockers at the Chit-Chat with my band, The TFabs. I welcome this chance to present a selection of my acoustic songs again at the Chit-Chat.

Through artfully crafted lyrics and heartfully sung melodies, San Francisco singer-songwriter Alie Halla tells the stories that make her feel less alone and hopes hearing them does the same for the listener. Her poetic, playful, and soulful style is inspired by such influences as Joni Mitchell, Brandi Carlile, and Paul Simon. In addition to her solo work, you can find Alie singing with 5-piece Americana band Liberty Street and with eclectic acoustic duo Alie and Me. ...And you can find her at the park with her dog Harold, who gives this glowing-if-biased review: "mom barks real good."
